In the wave of booming development of the global new energy industry, Lootah Group headquartered in Dubai and CHAM New Energy successfully held an in-depth exchange and discussion about cooperation at CHAM's headquarters in Dongguan on August 17. Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Ahmed Lootah, Chairman of Lootah Group, personally led a senior management team to CHAM, visited the product gallery and production lines of CHAM, and had a cordial exchange with Mr. Meng, Chairman of CHAM, in an effort to explore the unlimited possibilities for market development in the fields of new energy and energy storage in the Middle East and Africa.
In the morning, the delegation from Lootah Group, accompanied by the senior management of CHAM, first visited CHAM's modern product gallery where a wide variety of photovoltaic energy storage products, smart microgrid solutions and smart home products illustrated CHAM's achievements and strength in the field of new energy. Mr. Xie, Vice President of CHAM, introduced in detail the development course, base construction and leading products of the company to the guests. The head of CHAM's New Power BU specifically introduced the tropical battery program based on energy storage technology. This battery product is characterized by high temperature resistance, long cycle and high safety and is designed for extreme high-temperature environments such as deserts and the Gobi. As an important support under the goal of "peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality", it provides more space for return on investment for customers, and contributes the Chinese wisdom and strength to the global energy transition and eco-civilization progress. In addition, the head elaborated the blueprint of "CHAM's Off-grid Program for Large Zero-carbon Industrial Cities". Facing the challenges of high cost of diesel power generation, unstable grids, high difficulty in laying and severe noise pollution regarding off-grid operation in the current market, CHAM, relying on our forward-looking technological innovation, has launched the solution of the overall off-grid green carbon plant, which is not only a precise R&D project targeting advanced application scenarios including green mines, large microgrid, zero-carbon offshore microgrids and zero-carbon terminals, but also an innovation and practice of the future sustainable development model.
Then, the delegation visited CHAM's production lines and learned about the whole process of battery manufacturing. CHAM's staff briefly introduced the key processing steps from raw materials to finished products. After a discussion on battery performance indicators, such as energy density, cycle life and safety, the guests expressed their appreciation for CHAM's expertise and technical strength in battery production.
It is worth mentioning that the Chairman of Lootah Group showed great interest in the latest Yoga speaker developed by CHAM's Consumer BU. Derived from the electric control research achievement made by CHAM's Research Institute, this product, a healing device integrating sound, light and electromagnetic technologies, has the opportunity to set the trend in the health industry. By precisely controlling the subtle regulation over the acoustic resonance frequency by electric current, it subtly generates infrasound waves which are hard to capture by the human ear, creating a unique experience of listening to the "mysterious singing bowls". During yoga meditation or reading, this product significantly improves users' ability to concentrate; in sleep mode, it has an excellent sleep-aiding effect. Surprisingly, the high-frequency vibration piece and pulse heater contained in the product can effectively stimulate fragrant substances such as aldehydes and ketones in herbaceous and woody plants, without destroying their original molecular structures, thus optimally restoring their natural aroma and mild medicinal properties. Moreover, based on a specific spectrum of electromagnetic waves, the transparent shell and the metallic radiator work together to bring users a comfort experience like "massage", thus effectively regulating their nervous, endocrine, digestive and immune systems and allowing them to fully relax and recover physically and mentally.
In the conference session, the two sides had an in-depth and fruitful dialog on key issues such as new energy and energy storage. CHAM introduced the large cylindrical cell base under construction in Southwest China, and the nationally leading digital high-speed production lines for 32-series and 46-series large batteries built in conjunction with Siemens' digital technology, in an effort to drive the business development in the Middle East and the Arabic-speaking world. In the afternoon, the Chairman of Lootah Group, accompanied by the Chairman of CHAM, visited Huawei's digital energy headquarters in Shenzhen. The three parties had an in-depth discussion on the strategic value and development of large off-grid power plants, and established an effective communication mechanism, as well as cooperation goals.
This exchange visit not only deepened the understanding and trust between Lootah Group and CHAM, but also laid a solid foundation for their subsequent deep cooperation in the field of new energy and energy storage. Finally, the leaders of the two sides reached a consensus on pushing forward the progress of a joint venture platform for new energy power infrastructures as soon as possible.
